I was gifted a vintage camera this year for my birthday from my aunt, which I absolutely love! It’s a Ricohflex Model VIIS and my first medium format film camera. The first time I used the camera I was visiting Berlin (also my first time in Germany) with one of my oldest friends. It took a little time for me get the hang of using it but I managed to get a couple photos that I liked. 

The winter solstice is the day of the year that the sunrise is the latest. I think it was around 8/8:30 this year. My two friends and I grabbed our cameras and packed a picnic breakfast to watch the sun rise over the ocean. We figured this was the only time of the year we’d actually be up early enough to see it. 😜
